Aycock Auditorium at UNCG
Built in 1927 and completely renovated in 2007-2009, Aycock Auditorium provides a beautiful and comfortable concert venue for CBDNA 2013. Seating approximately 1,400 there are many amenities for audience members and performers alike. The sound quality is excellent for the ensemble, the conductor and the audience and the overall acoustic is clear and neutral.
Transportation will be provided from the Convention Hotel to and from Aycock Auditorium for CBDNA Members. A parking garage is also available about two blocks away for those who wish to drive back and forth to the concerts.
Renovations completed in 2009 were approximately $20 million and were comprehensive in every respect.
